Highlands Physicians for Women announces extension of practice; will provide new location for care in Abingdon, Va.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - HMG’s Highlands Physicians for Women announces the extension of its growing practice, opening Highlands Physicians for Women—Abingdon. Effective February 5, 2007, obstetrician & gynecologist Jeffrey A. McQueary, MD, FACOG, will be dividing his office time, providing OB/GYN care in both Bristol, Tenn., and Abingdon, Va.
Initially, Highlands Physicians for Women—Abingdon, will operate through HMG’s existing Abingdon Primary Care location (227 W. Main Street, Abingdon).
We’re tremendously excited about this opportunity to expand our care,” says Dr. McQueary. “Highlands Physicians for Women provides care for many women throughout Southwest Virginia. Our new presence in Abingdon will be a great convenience. We look forward to future growth in Abingdon.”
Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. McQueary received his doctorate of medicine at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Calif., where he also completed his OB/GYN internship. Following, he completed residency training at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond.
