About Dr. Smiddy Youssef

Pediatrician Dr. Sarah Youssef received her bachelor of science at Duke University, Durham, NC and her medical doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Cleveland, OH, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After residency, Dr. Smiddy Youssef practiced pediatrics for four years for Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and was a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. She enjoys seeing children from newborn to young adulthood, and has special interests in newborn care and breastfeeding, asthma, and caring for NICU graduates.

Dr. Smiddy Youssef is apart of the HMG Family of Care with her husband, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ashraf Youssef. She is a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and enjoys being with her family (all four generations here in East Tennessee!), being outside, reading, and cooking.
