“Our efforts are extensive indeed, as are our aspirations,” explains HMG Founder Jerry L. The recipient of numerous awards and honors, including receiving a Distinguished Investigator Award in 2002, Dr. Morin is known for his clinical research expertise in areas ranging from arthritis and depression to obesity, sleep disorders and gastroenterology.
Dr. Morin received a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Rhode Island and a doctorate of medicine from the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt. He’s currently enrolled in the Master of Medical Informatics (MMI) program at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.
A new venture, OnePartner Research is a novel clinical research organization comprised of dozens of independent clinics all working collaboratively to improve study design and selection efficiencies. Nationally, HMG will serve as the model for OnePartner Research – a novel Site Management Organization (novel-SMO™) using the Group’s expertise in information technology toward developing a network of high quality electronic medical record (EMR) based research practices across the United States.
In his role as director, Dr. Morin will support all aspects of clinical research for both HMG Clinical Research and OnePartner Research, including interpreting and applying regulatory guidelines, and serving as a resource for investigators, coordinators and administrative personnel. Additionally, he’ll oversee clinical research subject recruitment, quality assurance, training and sponsor/public relations.
