Holston Medical Group is increasing access to care in Southwest Virginia by adding Candy Bush, FNP, to the C-Health of St. Paul primary care and family medicine team at 3029 Half Ave., St. Paul, VA. With over 20 years of experience in nursing, Bush is dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective care while addressing patients’ specific health priorities and concerns.
As a Southwest Virginia native, Bush has a deep connection to the community. Inspired by the care her father gave as a first responder in the coal mines and by her mother, who cared for sick family members, she discovered her passion for helping others. “I realized I loved taking care of people,” Bush shared. “I strive to treat my patients like family and give them the same level of care I would want for my loved ones.”
Leaning on the shared philosophy of whole-person healthcare, Bush joins a team of highly quality and trusted providers dedicated to delivering personalized, empathetic care. Whether for annual check-ups, unforeseen injuries, or illnesses, she is committed to ensuring families in the Tri-Cities have access to exceptional care for their everyday health needs.
Bush’s patient-first approach focuses on understanding the broader context of their health. “I try to look at the whole picture—environmental factors, lifestyle, and more—to figure out how their health got to where it is and how we can make it better,” she said. “I’m very compassionate and take the time to help patients navigate their care, educate them about their health, and ensure they feel as good as they possibly can.”
Bush received her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at King University, Bristol, TN. Bush enjoys spending time on her family farm, Bush Farms, with her husband and two sons. Their family enjoys outdoor activities, including kayaking, camping, and tending to animals on the farm.
C-Health of St. Paul is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. To schedule an appointment with Candy Bush, FNP, online, visit our online scheduling page or call 276-738-1900.
