Holston Medical Group welcomes Sydney Younts, PA-C, to its team of highly qualified providers at HMG Primary Care at Sapling Grove, 240 Medical Park Blvd., Suite 3000, Bristol, TN. She joins Dr. Rick Whiles in providing high-quality, cost-effective care for the entire family.
Younts is passionate about nutrition and education, stating that they are the foundation for good health and longevity. “Understanding your metabolic health and applying good nutrition can help prevent disease,” said Younts. “People are often amazed at how the body heals itself with the proper nutrition. Those who suffer from chronic diseases like diabetes can improve their quality of life by focusing on the right foods and natural movement.”
Younts believes that building a trusting relationship with a primary care provider is crucial to creating positive health outcomes and achieving wellness goals.
“My goal is to be open and transparent with my patients. I believe that by working together, we can determine the root cause of an issue instead of simply treating the symptoms,” stated Younts.

Younts received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant at Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN, and her Bachelor of Science – Exercise Science from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN.
Younts is an Elizabethton, TN native and enjoys spending time with her husband and newborn baby. She is an avid University of Tennessee football fan, and she and her husband enjoy going to games. Younts is a member of Boones Creek Christian Church in Johnson City, TN.
