April Osborne, FNP, joins Holston Medical Group’s (HMG) team of highly qualified providers who support patients through all of life’s moments. She will provide care at both HMG Urgent Care Center at Medical Plaza, 105 W. Stone Drive, Suite 1F, Kingsport, TN, and HMG Urgent Care at Bristol, 350 Steeles Rd, Suite 1, Bristol, TN.
Osborne has experience providing acute care in emergency departments and enjoys fast-paced settings like HMG Urgent Care, which treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries that require quick medical attention, including:
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea and vomiting
- Ear infections
- Fever and headache
- Flu and bad colds
- Minor eye injuries
- Minor fractures
- Shortness of breath
- Small cuts that may require stitches
- Sprains and muscle pulls
- Sinus infections
“Using my background skills in emergency medicine, I am excited to transition into the urgent care setting to ensure patients get timely and convenient access to the best care possible,” said Osborne. “With state-of-the-art labs and x-rays on site, I can support all my patients’ concerns, educate them, and ensure their care is affordable with shorter wait times”

Osborne received her Master of Science degree in nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner at Carson-Newman University, Jefferson City, TN, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. Wise, Va.
Osborne enjoys spending time with her husband and two Goldendoodles. She enjoys lifting weights with her husband. You can find her outdoors playing with her dogs and traveling when she is not working out.
