Physician Assistant, Kelsey Stapleton, PA-C, joins HMG Primary Care at Abingdon providing care alongside Dr. Alison Whitman, Dr. Charlotte Townsend, and Robert Rutherford, FNP.
Stapleton enjoys seeing her patients getting excited about their own improvement in their health. As a former collegiate athlete at King College, she sees her role as her patient’s coach in wellness and preventive care.
Stapleton is a Bristol native, graduate of John S. Battle High School and King University, and she is honored to have the opportunity to return to serving her home community. Stapleton lives in Bristol with her husband, five-month-old son, two dogs and three cats, and she enjoys outdoor activities with her family and can be found on the water, paddle boarding or kayaking. Stapleton and her husband consider themselves foodies and love to travel while trying different cuisines.
Stapleton obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Jefferson College of Health Sciences (Roanoke, VA) and her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from King College (Bristol, TN).
